Business Developer

We are hiring a Business Developer for Aveda in Belgium (Area to be confirmed). This role is reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Benelux.

Main objective of this role is the achievement of sales objectives through the management and development of accounts. And also to develop concept salons and lifestyle salons through retail sales growth and business development

Sales 

  • Set sales targets on an annual basis with the RSM and review them monthly with each account
  • Track retail sales with Top Ten salon doors

Achievement of retail targets with Feedback to RSM
Review retail sales monthly with each account

  • Admin Reporting

Adhere to all timeframes & standards

  • Call Cycle 

Agree call cycle with RSM to ensure appropriate level of service.

  • Aveda Service Wheel

Use the Aveda Service Wheel during each salon visit to ensure strategic focus to visit.
Utilize service wheel to provide appropriate coaching to salon and spa team to ensure thorough retail product knowledge in order to increase sell-through.
Implement 90 day Soap Plan

  • Inventory Control

Oversee inventory control with salon order taker.
Identify Top 20 selling products with salon, set ideal inventory levels and review

  • Marketing Programme

Ensure all new launch material and program material is sent on a timely basis to the salons/spas. Verbally communicate new and existing product usage, positioning and clarifying points of difference.
Use the ecosystem model to support salon and spa growth plans and increase referrals to Aveda Retail Accounts.

  • Education

Conduct basic education.
Organize, implement and monitor 90 Day Education Plan. 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify potential concept and lifestyle Salons/new doors to business development
  • Prospecting

Implement strategy for New Business 

  • Expand domains in existing business conduct?

Show salons through sensory experiences, retail profitability

  • Identify Migration opportunities with existing Salons

Implement Migration Plan

  • Salon Owner Meetings

Assess needs on a monthly basis communicate information

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

  • Monthly focus

Off shelf & stylist merchandising

  • Merchandising

Follow Aveda’s schematic set-up for on shelf and window merchandising

  • Inventory Control

Set up inventory systems in all accounts

  • Inventory Management

Oversee inventory control with salon order taker.
Identify Top 20 selling products with salon, set ideal inventory levels and review

Profile

3-5 years sales experience (preferably in new business development and account management).

This experience in the B2B sector is a must, in the cosmetic sector is a serious asset.

Bilingual Dutch/French

Dynamic, Stress resistant, persistent, entrepreneurship mind.
