The Belgian Railways consist of three companies
1. Infrabel is the owner and the manager of the railway-infrastructure. It is the responsible for maintenance of the rail network and for the management of the rail traffic .
2. SNCB/NMBS is the National Railway Company of Belgium. Owner and manager of the rolling stock, it is responsible for passenger train services
3. HR Rail is the subsidiary responsible for human resources. It is the legal employer of all employees of the Belgian Railways (SNCB, Infrabel and HR Rail)
