As an Account Manager you are responsible for the most important element of our business; making sure our customer, category and brand plans are executed brilliantly at the shop floor. You will make sure that wherever we connect with a consumer/shopper; he/she will find our brands in a consistent and appealing way.
You will arrange meetings with the Off-Trade customers (owners independent supermarkets & store managers hypermarkets) and build great commercial partnerships with them to deliver agreed sales targets and to secure implementation of Diageo’s execution standards. You measure and evaluate business performances and identify & initiate proposals for incremental business. You have the ability to build strong business relationships & you thrive for win-win outcomes: customers are growing their business by selling our great portfolio of premium drinks. This is a commercial position: you are responsible for driving and inspiring customer loyalty by implementing marketing & sales activations whilst ensuring that our products are recommended by shop staff.

- Master or bachelor degree
- Relevant experience in sales is a plus. This can also be commercial experience gained during your studies.
- Flemish native speaker and fluency in English (we are an international organisation)
- Networker and confident
- Understand consumer types, attitudes and trends
- Strong influencing skills: the ability to impact customer behaviour at the point of purchase
- High level of structure
- Self-starting and resilient
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills
- Quick learner; in order to sell the broad portfolio of products in the most effective way, you need to be able to absorb skills and knowledge quickly.
