Key Account Manager FMCG

Our client is a global company in FMCG, internationally represented in over 200 markets around the world. Hays Sales is currently looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to represent their products, more specifically in the retail industry.

As a Key Account Manager your main focus will be on maintaining close relationships with the bigger clients from their well-established portfolio. This includes building out a long-term relationship with all your clients. Your main responsibility will be to stimulate the growth in your own sector, which will be the bigger wholesale clients in Belgium. To do so, you will analyze your clients data and develop a strategic plan of action. You will prepare the necessary documents and follow-up the available budgets. You will work from your office 60% of the time and visit clients for the time left. You will closely work together with other departments. You report directly to the Sales Manager of Belgium.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equal in experience). You need over five years of experience in FMCG, preferably with clients in retail. Moreover, you already have experience in dealing with bigger clients. You’re a true farmer and like building out long-term relationships with your clients. You have an analytical mindset combined with strong commercial insights and you are hands-on and ambitious. Finally, you are fluently trilingual in Dutch, French and English.
