Retail Sales Manager - Telenet

The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for the commercial development of Telenet Business within the Telenet Retail Channels : external (Telenet Centers) as well as internal (Telenet Stores).  He/she leads a team of 3 Retail Account Managers and 2 Field Coaches and is responsible for reaching sales objectives and assuring channel profitability.

Your key roles & responsibilities are :

  • Reaching Telenet  Business sales objectives with as most important KPI’s net sales CE and share of business within the total Telenet Retail channel sales
  • Building and developing commercial relationships with the key retailers within the channel. Build joint business plans with as main objective the reaching of mutual objectives
  • Lead, coach and allocate a team of 3 retail account managers and 2 field coaches. You spend at least 25% of you time in the field. You follow up of RAM field visits and prepare a weekly reporting incl. results, key facts and forecast for the indirect sales director on a weekly basis. You prepare and execute a channel strategy plan.
  • Pro-actively detecting the needs of retailers and solve them in collaboration with the channel development team. Together with Go to market and channel communication you prepare and execute a complete retail communication and promotional plan.

  • In close partnership with residential sales you build and execute a collaborational model with as main objective building Telenet business awareness and volume within our own Telenet Stores
  • Evaluation of existing retail footprint and filling in of regional territory gaps, on the one hand by reinforcing existing retailers, on the other hand by recruiting new retailers.

Profile :

  • You have experience in managing an indirect retail sales channel, preferably in a telco and connectivity environment
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in leading a sales team.
  • You are able to detect operational issues and recommend adaptations of processes in order to answer them
  • You are able to work within the boundaries of an indirect sales model.
  • You have experience with indirect sales commissioning models
  • The Retail Sales Manager is an important player within the Telenet Business sales team and is responsible for 20% of total Telenet Business new sales acquisition
  • You have a pro-active and problem solving mentality
  • You have an analytical mindset and are able to translate company objectives into clear team targets
  • You have excellent negotiations and influencing skills
